KAI was retained by repeat client, IRG Realty Advisors, to provide A&E Services for this project serving the Canton City School District.  The new 26,500 SF sports facility sits on the Canton McKinley High School amongst the existing School Building and Natatorium.

The addition includes a 4,000 SF Weight Room with customized equipment that will be utilized primarily by the perennial powerhouse Canton McKinley High School Football Teams.   Multiple customized Locker Rooms, Training Rooms, and Meeting Rooms are also included for all use by all sports teams at the school. The school district plans to also use the space as a community meeting room and for staff training.

The facility includes large Back-of-House spaces to support the daily functions of the athletes. A large Laundry Room is provided with commercial-grade washers, dryers, and chemical equipment. An oversized equipment Storage Room serves the Locker Rooms with moveable shelving units and a wall of equipment cubbies that will allow players to retrieve their gear more efficiently.

The building exterior utilizes a combination of materials to provide a new fresh look while also complementing the existing buildings on campus.
