This $11 Million Condominium Project represents one component of the redevelopment of the historic Book Cadillac hotel located in downtown Detroit, Michigan. The existing 32-story building has been renovated to become a combined Westin Hotel & Banquet Center and Westin-branded Condominiums development. The top seven floors of the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel feature 67 high-end condominium units with exceptional views of the city and the Detroit River. A total of 92,000 SF of living area has been designed for these Condominiums. Per unit areas range from 925 SF to 4,700 SF and include both single and multi-story deluxe units. In some units existing mansard roofs and roof top ziggurat space have been incorporated into interesting floor plans for the high-end prospective buyers.
KAI has worked carefully to design these units, coordinating all Hotel infrastructure demands, Historic preservation concerns, and high-end real estate objectives.
The Book-Cadillac Hotel has been listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings and will be renovated according to National Park Service standards.
